I thought Mr. Hechler's talk was extremely interesting. I was fascinated by the insides of the computer, and I was great that we actually got to handle the parts and get a close look at them.
One thing that surprised me was the fact that you can't throw computers away. I did not know that they don't allow computers to be thrown into landfills. This is a really handy piece of information to know because I know I will not be throwing out my computer in the future, I will recycle it.
Another thing that I did not know was that recycled paper has a plastic film on it that will melt and ruin some printers or copiers. I will also keep this in mind the next time it choose printer paper!
